About Me

I’m Ken McCallum, an IT Project Manager, Web Developer & Blog Writer from the United Kingdom.

In July 2012 after 2 years & 2 months on the road, I reached the Cape of Good Hope completing my cycle across Africa in aid of Orphaned Street Children.

I’ve since returned to full time employment as a Technical Project Manager, but maintain my active support for charities and organisations through use of Internet & Technology.

Having graduated from Kingston University in 2003 with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Business Information Technology, I joined leading London law firm Bird & Bird shortly after where I worked as a Business Analyst participating in both Software Development & Project Management roles.

In May 2010 I set out to cycle from Sharm el-Sheikh to Cape Town, raising money and working for Orphaned Children organisation throughout Africa as part of the Better Life Cycle project.

You can read more on my 2 Year, 2 Month African Journey on my dedicated Blog page.
